Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress famous for Hum Aapke Hai Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is one of the most well-known Indian actors. Her career began in the late 1980s, and rose to popularity with her role in the Tezaab film, where she starred with an established actor Anil Kapoor. Then she appeared in the film Dil in which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. In her early years, the Mumbai-born dancer began learning at an early stage. When she was young began acting, but was not successful as a lot of her movies were unsuccessful. Eventually she became one the most famous actresses in Indian films. In the aftermath of her wedding ceremony, she took a time off from her acting career until she returned. Recenty, she had a major part on the film Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women across India. Dixit is nominated in 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these she's received 8. She was also honored with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. In addition, she is recognized for her charity work.
