Rosalia

Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is an Spanish Pop/Flamenco artist. From her teens, she's been involved with the edges of traditional and popular music. She also plays with genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and well-known musician, has described the sound of the new artist as sharp with sweetness and grit. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually receiving a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. It featured collaborations on songwriting with other performers and producers like Cory Henry. The album was released in on March 20, 2022 following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish singer to sing on her own in the show. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home an award for the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first woman to do so.
