Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international advancements into Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 was awarded an Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for the year 2017. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked it at number 8. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina that year. In 2021, he sang an duet with TINI's popular song Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, featuring the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo is a product of a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father are both musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. He began playing guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as when he was a child. Though his original career plan was that of veterinarian, his brother Julian encouraged him to start taking singing lessons from a Cuban. It changed his entire life.
